Response to I can also tell you that a 43 year-old friend of mine recently consulted with him (DE ment |
| not sure if that egregious remark was directed at me but i agree it's not egregious; however, that was not my experience. he was telling me that because my fsh was 12 the iui's didn't work, not because after spending 1200$ and the gas to get down there and the 3k for all the stimms they missed ov. and the next month after adding lupron i had a worse reaction. he never admitted it was their bumbling instead preferring to say it was my bad eggs and high fsh so it would be best to move on to de.
hey i'm just telling you my experience. believe it or not. i have had him and an acu who last year totally waste my $$$$ and precious time because they screwed up. i've never pressed the issue with them demanding refund or make up svcs because that's the chance i took, but i'm sure going to let everyone know what my experience was. but like i said it was several years ago.
i've also had a doctor tell me that ovidrel doesn't cause early ovulation for me even though i felt ov exactly 24 hours after i took the shot; not just once but 3x. i've also had another doc tell me that because my fsh was in the 70's i wouldn't ov. i was ov'ing while he was telling me this.
so my faith in most docs is limited at best. just know your s**t going in, because they don't know everything about you and how you will respond.
