Response to he sounds like a complete $&^%$

I just got a phone call from my OOT RE and he told me that whatever I wanted to do would be fine with him. I guess they are really good buddies that he is willing to give the local RE a patient esp. when I used to formerly be his patient. This local RE is just starting out his own practice (no SART or CDC statistics yet). Specifically, I told the OOT RE that I wanted him to treat me and that was the reason why I drove all the way out there to see him, because he has had success and lots of hope for DOR patients. He was excited to tell me a story during our first consult about a patient with 50 FSH and she had a baby. He didn't like to talk about other patients to other patients but that patient didn't mind him spreading some inspiration. I think she also shared her story in a news article or so. She used DHEA and that is why he encourages women with high FSH to do so as well. He was glad to hear that I chose him and he confirmed that he will specifically treat me with whichever protocol he chooses that will work for me. In addition, I flat out told him that local RE will NOT monitor me and that I have an OB/Fertility Specialist that will be doing it for me. He mentioned that he heard good things about that OB/FS and told me what the next steps will be. This OOT RE is really a softie and a very sweet guy and the type not to gossip or talk negative. I mean he is like the kind of person that will not hurt your feelings and if he has to he is extremely sympathetic.

I would love to call and report on the local RE but instead I will hold off for a little while. I don't want to scare off the OOT RE and make him think I could possibly sue him if my treatment doesn't work. Of course I wouldn't do that. Me not giving the local RE my money is a good punishment for what he did to me. When the local RE told me that there is no benefit cost-wise and esp. with donor egg there is significant savings with him, I was like, "I haven't even gotten a protocol for IVF yet and now we're talking money for DE?".
