IVM may only be a rescue service in California, but it is offered as a standalone service at McGill University Fertility Clinic in Montreal, Canada. This program requires a high antral follicle count. Also, no stims are used - just estrogen and progesterone after implantation. It might be worth looking into as the costs in Canada can be a lot lower per cycle than in the US.
It might be worth looking into in other places in the US as well. IVM is not always offered as a rescue service only. It's a great program for a woman with a high AFC and who is looking to avoid using stims.
