Response to CCRM, what is different? |
| Admittedly this was 2008 and I hear that they have changed their tune, but all was fine and dandy until they told me that I had an FSH of 20 and needed DE. They basically refused to cycle me and told me that I should have 15-25 follicles (this was all at age 36.5). I was utterly devastated. I was treated was radioactive once it was shown that I wouldn't be the perfect patient that would help them preserve their stats. Thank heavens for this board and the women here who helped me through this experience.
Schoolcraft has since told my RE that they were losing too much business by this screening so they are now helping everyone . . . but I cannot forget how they treated me. They bounced me out and tried to convince me to use DE just to preserve their flippin statistics. Yes, I am bitter. I finally found success with another RE last year but it was a long, painful road to get there.
MIR is dead-on; they do have a good lab so if you have a lot of follicles it would be a good place to go. For most of us, though, it is not worth it. |
