Hi! Such a great forum. I just found out about my hormone levels yesterday and am not quite sure what to think. I've received my results, but have yet to talk with my doctor about the results. I realize that I should get retested on day 3...am just new to this entire process...
I am a single 41 year old woman who is suddenly facing the reality of possibly not having children because of my age. The man that I am dating has mentioned that he will not ever be interested in having a baby outside of the "natural way" (his words). I have heard other men say the same thing...
I guess my line of questioning is two-fold:
1. Should I be concerned about my hormone levels as listed above?
2. And, has anyone else encountered this point of view from men? The reality is that I would like to be in a committed relationship before getting pregnant...which means I have a few years before that will most likely happen. But, my clock is ticking...it's probably too late to freeze my eggs. Should I be considering alternative methods of getting pregnant now, as single woman? What would you do?
I realize that I have many questions, but any advice/comments/opinions at all about any of the questions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
