I think he thinks you can get pregnant naturally. My DH was not on board for IVF years ago due to feeling like it could up the odds of birth defects....pushing limits. We have a nephew that is mentally handicapped so that is the source of his concern...not being able to handle that type of situation.

As others posted above, go to a reproductive endocrinologist in your area to get cycle day 3 testing done for FSH, estrogen, and such. You might want to decide to pursue having a child through donor sperm if you are anxious to try now?
