I normally post on the new High FSH Board but was wondering if any of you could weigh in on my bloodwork below. I am 36.

I have been trying to start an IVF cycle. I have been delayed 2 months due to a cyst and on BCP. I have been on BCP. My plan is to start MDL after 12 days of BCP once the cyst goes away. They are using this protocol b/c it is the only one that has worked for me in the past. On EPP I tend to develop lead follicles.

I stopped the BCP the Sunday before labor day. I never really started a period but just had some spotting. I went in today to see what was going on. I still have a cyst. The follicle measured 22. I also had one other follicle that measured 7. The nurse said I had a few more antrals on one side, but could not see anything else on the side with a cyst. There may be no more, or they may be obscured by the cyst.

My bw levels were E2 of 297. LH of 42. FSH 19.7.

I am really concerned. First, it seems my AFC is down from normal. It has been around 6-7 in the past. Also, my LH level seems really high. I have never seen it that high before. I'm not sure if this is b/c of where I am in my cycle or what.

My highest FSH reading in the past with a non-elevated E2 level has been 33.

Any thoughts on these numbers?

Maybe the BCP are oversuppressing me and causing the decreased AFC and the upsetting numbers.

Should I request a trigger shot? Would that rid me of the cyst so I could start a cycle with my next AF?
