How goes the battle?? Hope all is well!!!

I have a question for you. I am doing the EPP for suppression on my next cycle. According to my old notes I'm suppose to take .25mg of cetrotide. I have .5mg of ganirelix. Are they both antagon and can I just take 1/2 of the ganirelix so I'm taking .25??? Didn't you split your ganirelix dose and use it 2x?

yes, i think that is fine. they are the same thing as i understand it, and i did do that—injected half of the ganirelix and then the other half next day. andrea, i think, recommended wiping off the needle with alcohol. i actually didn't, just stuck it in, but it didn't slide in so easily (gross!) so i would do what she said.

no news here. i am on cd28. nothing happening. i have been getting negative hpts for five days, but still no sign of AF. i started estrace on monday, so it may be drawing things out a bit. this cycle has taken FOREVER and i'm ready to just get on with it! i keep hoping that second line will sneak in there, but i am not really expecting it.

i have actually been wondering if those expired pee sticks are telling me the truth . . . . any doubts on yours?

Bummer about the -hpts

My expired ones are working....I followed my trigger out with them. Now I'm hoping another line appears over the next few days but am not expecting anything as I only had one follie.

What is your plan for the next cycle? Are you using ganirleix in the LP or just in the FP?

i've never used an antagonist during the LP. what does it do? i've just used it to slow down my O.

i am just doing a little EP using estrace. have been on it for a few days, just trying to avoid that lead getting all hot and bothered.

i hope you get that second line! that would be awesome.

uses antagon in the LP to prime FSH receptors. You get a +OPK and then 10 days later you start an estrogen patch. The next 3 days (11, 12 and 13 days after +OPK) you take .25 antagon each day changing the patch everyother day until AF. Once you get AF you keep the patch on until it falls off. CD2 for baseline u/s and b/w check of P4, E2 and FSH. Start stims. This is Cornell's EPP.

You are not suppose to ttc the month you start this but I should know if I have a BFP by 9DPOs which would be 11 days post trigger (aka 11days post +OPK)

Wishing you both luck! Crayo! Your period is really late!! We O'd around the same time last month and I'm already stimming for this cycle. I'm CD 7. Can you go in for a Beta? I'll keep looking for your update.

That will be CD 9. I'll post scoop when I get back. I started the follistim yesterday after doing Femara and my ovaries are burning....so hopefully something is brewing!

i'll have a beta on monday, i guess, if AF hasn't shown by then. she probably will. i'm not usually this slow and am a little puzzled. am getting caught up in other people thinking i'm pregnant—dh was SO sure he hit it this month, and my acu is thinking that maybe he did, too. but honestly, i don't really think i am. i think i'm just SLOW. i do tend to run late a lot in other areas of my life!

will post if there's news.

really sad today because my BF just did her fourth IVF, in which she transferred a blast, and got a BFN. really aching for her. she can't get pregnant any other way, poor girl.
