Just wondering - how many people use TCM acupuncture and who has pure 5 - element? I've tried both and I think I prefer 5 - element as it makes me feel better overall. Just interested what other people think. Mx

I've had acu for 5.5 years now with 2 different people and dabbled with 2 others, but had no idea there were different schools of thought - I thought different people just had different points, although they all seem to be about the same IME.
I'm quite sure it helped me to have DD after just 2 months of treatment, but it has done nothing for fertility other than a few chemicals over the past 3 years. I wonder if I need the big guns given my age.

... and which do you think works for you? I find the 5 - element works at a deeper level, whereas the TCM is more "formulaic" i.e. a one - size fits all prescription. Every TCM practitioner I've been to uses the same points to stimulate the ovaries, whereas the 5 - element practitioners work at strengthening the kidney system overall and is more holistic. Mx
