I am getting dark lines, but I really do not think that they are as dark as the control, but everyone keeps saying it's a positive, when it clearly says on all instructions it has to be as dark or darker. Hmmmmmmm... it was clearly negative two days ago, and then turned dark, but it is def not as dark. My ovaries are hurting like crazy, and had CM yesterday, so I assume I am ovulating, but it bugs me that the OPK isn't darker. Thanks for listening. xoxo BD

testing late morning and late afternoon? I know that's a pain, but sometimes I had to do that to catch my surge. Also, did you try a couple of different brands with the same urine sample? For me, some tests results were more clear than others. The test sold at the dollar store worked really well for me. Are you tracking your basal body temperature, too? From your symptoms I'd guess that you've surged or will surge very soon. If you keep testing and the test line gets lighter (after having been so dark), then you probably surged but for some reason missed the result with the tests.

I tested this morning with a different test and it was negative, so I guess I surged yesterday. Still having slight ovary pains today, not as much, some CM yesterday, not as much as Monday. I haven't done temp. I did test a few times yesterday, and it was the same dark line all day. I think I ovulate a few days after my surge based on my luteal phase. BD last night, will again tonight and tomorrow night. Major MF and set up for IVF with donor next month, but wanted to just try anyway.. so we'll see.. PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE!!! I would do anything to have this work with DP and not have do IVF... anything!!!!!! Thanks for chiming in, appreciate it. xoxo BD

Sounds like you covered all the bases! It's sooo annoying when OPK's are hard to read. Hope you get your miracle this cycle!!

I do not think I ovulated yet, even though sticks turned dark on Monday. Ugh.

using OPK's? Perhaps your ovary is more active this month b/c your FSH was elevated early on. Have you thought about requesting an US so you can know for certain what's going on? Granted, having an US probably wouldn't change your plans for TI, but maybe it would give you some peace of mind. You've mentioned that your odds are low b/c of MF, but this seems to be a very impt cycle to you, so it might be money well spent. I did minimal nat. cycle monitoring a few times b/c I just needed to know what the heck my body was doing on its own and I wanted to improve BD timing b/c of poor motility. Unfortunately, we never had success naturally but the monitoring helped me realize that my body could still do some things right and it was not unreasonable to seek more treatment. A picture speaks a 1000 words! My mantra was...it only takes 1, it only takes 1! Hang in there!!

I ran out of OPK's when they just turned negative. Pains have stopped, so thinking maybe I did O in the last day or two. I considered getting an US, but I don't think I'm going to have time to do it this month. Good idea though. Thanks so much for your support. I got good BD in the last two days... so praying... XoXoBD

you want the sperm to be waiting there when the egg pops out and sperm live up to 3 days. you will definitely be hitting it within that time period.
