IVF 4 is a bust. Even though I knew better then get my hopes up, I was feeling pretty good about things in the beginning of this 2ww. At 4dp3dt my E2 was 536 and P4 was 39. At 12dp3dt my E2 is 8 and P4 is 11. E2 = 8!, How is that even possible? Am I even female? It certainly explains the night sweats and inability to sleep last night.

Just questioning whether the lupron after transfer was right for me. The nurse said that I could go in for baseline to start my next ivf on cycle 2 or 3. Really? I just move forward without talking to a RE. I know we are searching for a golden egg, but I'm just not moving forward until a new and improved plan is in place. I guess I'll just stay on progesterone until I can actually talk to an RE. FUIF.

Ugh--I'm so sorry to hear this. Totally sucks! I agree w/you...definitely talk to RE before moving forward. Take lots of time to be good to yourself.

I'm so sorry. Your numbers looked really good 4dp3dt....I would have thought BFP for sure with those numbers. Anyway...definitely hold out and talk to a Dr before cycling again if you can.

So sorry Tripplebe....

I've had quite a few IVF failures and I know that no matter how much you prepare yourself mentally, it still hurts so much when you get a BFN......

I hope this is the last BFN you ever get.....

Al

As I said before, Check's success at 41 has been zero lately, and you don't get to talk to him or tweak protocols, in my experience. I know he's helped a lot of people, but I can't see how he can help us at this point in time.

I agree with you that talking to the RE before next cycle makes sense. People always call that the WTF? meeting. Even if nothing concrete comes of it, I think having that time to just go over everything really helps. ((hugs))

xoxo, Tracy

Why in the world would they have you do lupron after transfer? Doesn't lupron inhibit E2, when you need some E2 for proper implantation?
