Im currently seeing Dr Cardone, who is great, but he does neither of these approaches. Anyone know of a place in Boston area where they are doing Mini IVFs ir low stim?
Has anyone been able to get there re to try low stim protocols that typically arent offered?
Im a bit ahead of myself, but im trying to be prepared for anything. First IVF will be soon!!!

There are only a few High FSH friendly doctors in MA. The doctors who can do Mini-IVF are even less. I thought Dr. Cardone is the one, but you know him than me. I saw 4 doctors in MA, and ended up go to Cooper. I know some ladies from MA do the same thing.

You can cycle with the clinic and just use lower stims than they are suggesting. With high FSH often the number of follies don't differ much with high or low stims so nobody is too surprised if you don't get many follies. I did this with my clinic as they didn't know much about high fsh and the high/low stim debate. Not ideal but it was much more convenient for me to do this than to travel to another clinic. I did a high stim the way they suggested and got 7 eggs but no success and then did a med/low stim on my own and got 4 eggs and one stuck. Just depends what you are comfortable with. The stim thing is not really rocket science so I didn't feel nervous about it (plus safer and less expensive to go with lower stims).
