Work toward autopilot
Some day after you have mindfully followed a pattern of doing things right because you know you ought to, you will find to your surprise that you begin to do these things almost like you are on autopilot. In the beginning, you had to "force" yourself to do these things. One day you find you don't have to pressure yourself in the way you used to. Now it feels more natural to get up and get the job done. You may even find that you make the bed, empty the dishwasher, or leave the bathroom in great shape without even thinking about it.
You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, 'I release the need for this in my life'. -Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
