Theory on story of the songs.

I have constructed a theory on the hidden meanings of the songs written by logan kane and matt joyce of the UFOs. Many of thier songs refer to a character known as "Johnny." It is my theory that all of the UFO songs follow the troubled life of this person in a disjunct temporal order narration. Johnny begins as a naive teen discovering his sexuality in "barely legal," his thoughts become more and more obsessed with the dark side of his mind as he gains interest in "the Virtues of negative fascination." He is hurt when he realizes that this is the barrier or "Barb wire necklace" that has kept him from truly being in love. HIs heart is broken and he vents his frustration in "All the right" and later he uses drugs to hide in "Downer boy" His shell of denial begins to break down in "Less than a zero" and he resigns to his fate in "another day." Eventually his mind falls apart but before it does he has a relevation, one last spark of thought in "Johnny loner" Soon he succombs to a vegetable state, after all contact is lost he is alone with his fading past. "backwards in my dreams"
Who Is Johnny? Is he real or fabricated by the creative geniuses at work. I suppose we'll never know.
