that your insurance pays not only for your van but for the contents inside! I didn't want this post to get lost below . . .

I had my purse stolen once out of the trunk of my car. There was no sign of forced entry! The police said that any make/model car has only about 8 different keys, and that there was a 1 in 8 chance the guy who "broke in" had a key. Nowadays with computer chips on the keys it's not a problem, but with older cars it is! I never leave my purse even in the trunk now!
