exactly the sort of thing you needed to find out! When they know exactly what is going on, then they can set about treating it. They will give him strategies and "tools" to overcome whatever difficulty he is having. You will see, he will catch up quickly! Unfortunately, the schools often do "guesswork" and extra tutoring to try and remediate, but often they do not address the underlying problem!! As one specialist told me once, they figure they have 12 years to "address your problem" then they wash their hands of it! It's your child and you need to make sure he is learning! It sounds like this learning center is on the ball. I hope he progresses quickly - I'm sure that he will! Most kids do when their needs are actually being met!!
