Response to I hope that ...

first two dogs then three then four!!!

We got the first one and then I went to work so we decided to get him a "buddy" to hang out in the day with. Then we found a dog we ended up keeping, never found it's home, and it was a large dog so THREE wasn't a good number. Next thing you know we had FOUR. Ouch.

We're now down to three and since Murphy died in September we haven't really discussed replacing him. Four dogs is a lot of work and a lot of, well, "stuff" to clean up (if you catch my drift!)...

Cats are so much more independent but I'm a dog lover at heart. And we have dogs that don't shed, are hypoallergenic (Labradoodles). I'm not sure you can get a hypoallergenic cats unless you get a hairless cat and to be honest they just look silly to me! A cat without fur just doesn't seem like a cat. And, while I know those that have them love them, they just look weird to me. Have you seen them? Not a hair on them. And I hear they smell bad. No, I'll stick to my doggie's!
