best friend in high school had a Siamese cat, and when I would sleep over at her house the cat would sleep with me. I hear that they like to 'talk' a lot. I bet Truman is cute! You are right Lace, dogs are a lot more work then cats, and they are more of a responsibility ... I think that's one of the reasons why my dh says no more dogs. As much as I would love a little bitty dog ...I really don't blame him. It was hard the last few years to go anywhere because of Ernie, he was old and we didn't want to put him in a kennel. I do think the reward the dogs give you is worth all the work, but It just doesn't make sense for us to get one right now.
Maybe a kitten for Christmas ... maybe ... we still have to think on it. There's the vet bills to think about and the shots the kitten would have to get and the litter .... we have to weight it all out and see if it's the right thing to do.
