Now keep in mind that there is stevia in this recipe. I'm sure you could use the sweetener of you choice instead. Stevia is really sweet, so if you use a different sweetener you would need to add more. Okay ... here it is!

CHOCOLATE COFFEE TREAT

8 oz freshly brewed decaffeinated coffee ( I used caffeinated!)
1/2 tsp. stevia extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 cup whipped cream topping ( recipe following)
8 oz. nonfat milk

Pour brewed coffee into a bowl. Stir stevia, almond and cocoa powder into hot coffee. Add whipped cream to coffee mixture and stir until thorougly blended. Pour milk into a microwave safe container and heat on high power for 1 minute. Add milk to coffee/whipped cream mixture and stir. You can put this all in a blender if you want and blend it, I skipped this step though!

OPTIONAL: Garnish with ground chocolate, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, nutmeg

WHIPPED TOPPING

1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp. stevia extract
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Whip the heavy cream for about 1 minute. Add stevia extract and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. Serve immediately or plac in refrigerator in air tight container - will keep for a few days.

This recipe has 3 grams of sugar per cup of coffee.

It's delicious!
