I had my purse stolen once out of the trunk of my car. There was no sign of forced entry! The police said that any make/model car has only about 8 different keys, and that there was a 1 in 8 chance the guy who "broke in" had a key. Nowadays with computer chips on the keys it's not a problem, but with older cars it is! I never leave my purse even in the trunk now!

I am sorry about your purse. Good to know about older cars. Police still have not found the van. Guess we have to go through our home owners for the contents. I bet it will be an uphill battle.
