My brother and sil

are going to be moving in to town. Right now they live way out in the country and decided they really need to be in town at this stage of life, so starting July 1st they will be moving a little at a time all through the month or until everything is moved whichever comes first before the end of July. I am hoping we can get this done in a couple of weeks but depending on the weather and depending on when others can help, so I will be helping packing and moving, uggggg. I am very happy they are moving into town, at least they will be closer to me. The are leaving a rather large farm house and moving into an apartment, wow what a change, but the apartment is rather large and it is so much nicer too, they even have a fireplace there, a sunroom tooo, plus a two car garage and a nice big back yard. All utilites are included in the rent and the cost of living in town is so much cheaper than living in the country. The only draw back to living in town is there are no open spaces. So it will take some getting used to, my brother really likes his privacy and the open prairie. Anyway just wanted to let you all know! as I may have to miss a day here and there coming on, but I will try my best to be here.

This sounds ...

like a really good move for them Tea.  It sounds like a really nice place, I'm sure they will really enjoy it and a major plus is that they will be closer to you! Perhaps he doesn't have as much up keep now, which is another major plus. Our old neighbours did the same, they sold their house and moved into a condo, and they are loving it. No more shovelling snow, or cutting their grass, there is minimal up keep for them and they are enjoying their freedom from all of that. I think that would be something I would do too in years to come, when the children are gone and it's just me and my dh.
