the Michael Jackson movie "This is It?" Wow. What a wonderful movie. The man was a true genius and artist like no other. This movie really portrayed the artist that he was. So sad he died an early death.

P.S. I don't believe for a minute the negative press . . . the kid admitted his dad made him "say those things" - they were trying to extort money. So sad that someone so talented and so genuinely kind would suffer at the hands of one evil person. JMO.

I agree with you

I've recently read where the boy's description of MJ's "private parts" was due to the fact that MJ had urinated in front of the boys. While "odd" I guess in general men are more open about such things. Admittedly my boys, when young, a couple of times while traveling were forced to use a nearby bush for such purpose.

I guess we'll never know the truth but I tend to believe that boys parents exploited his relationship with MJ for financial gain.

I would like to see the movie and I've read and heard very good things about it. Glad to hear you felt the same way.

I most likely won't see it in the theater but hopefully will watch it on DVD.

Terry, I think that

he was definitely WAY too naive. Someone with his amount of fame and money should have known better. A simple matter of having protections in place - hired workers to be in the room at all times so nobody could accuse him of anything! You would have thought his lawyers would have been all over that one, advising him to protect himself.

Regardless, as an artist, all I can say is WOW, the movie was really great and showed what a great artist he was. I find it sad that almost ALL artists who achieve success don't have normal lives. What does that say about our society? I don't know if they could have a normal life the way our press treats them for starters!

and probably won't see it either.  I'm a sci-fi fan and that's usually what we go to see, either that or kid's shows.
