Thank you for your response. My grandfather, Michael Jakelis and his wife Mary Jakelis lived in Philadelphia. My father, Antonas (Anthony) was born in Phila and his family traveled to Kaunus for a visit and were caught in the war. They returned to Phila where he became a tool maker for SKF. He meet my mother , Anna Butkus, and they married and moved to Freehold, NJ when SKF went on strike. There are now 15 Jakelis from this family. We are in NJ, FL, TX, AZ, OH and CA.
