Well, I finally got the names of my great grandparents only I am not sure of spelling as they are handwritten on church documents and really hard to read, but:
grandfather; Leon Metro....his dad Theodorus Metro
his mom Euphrosyna Romanow
grandmother; Anna Ciapes...her dad Joseph Ciapes
her mom Casimira Tacewicz
tried to get state copy of marriage liscence but could not prove that I was great grandaughter so they would not look it up for me. No hits on ancestry.com on those names,although there were people in penna. and chicago who came over around the same time and could have been related. Can't find anything on naturalization papers from either deleware, or ny. No information on what ship they were on.. I am at a standstill. I hope maybe when I go to lithuania I can find something or someone. Paula
