      Hi Kerrie

There certainly is a Lutheran Church in Kretinga - has been since 1899 when it was finished. My grandmother and most of her siblings were married in it and my father baptised. I worshipped there Easter 1999. It is on Rotuse Square. I have also spent several hours in it looking through whatever documents they might have. They only had a few books which mainly recorded the congregation members who had gone to Holy Communinion. I did not look into it any further, as to where the records may have gone to after the Russians took over. The Lutheran church of Lithuania does have a website. Just put LUTHERAN CHURCH IN LITHUANIA into your search engine (I use GOOGLE) and several sites come up. The Lutheran Church in Lithuania is affiliated to the Missouri Synod of the Lutheran church in America. Good luck!
