      Ok,
He changed his name in between the 1910 and 1930 census. On the Naturalization papers it is spelled Witkofsky.
Witkowski is on one of the census. I can't remember which one.
      Maybe we should try Vitkofsky?
The area he came from, according to John, used Polish spellings for their names even though they were ethnic Lithuanian.
A friend of the family told me many times that he and his wife used to argue about their ethnic background. His wife always said that he was not Polish.
