Ona Pocius Born 1891 in Lithuania, came over to the USA with a Juozas Pocius August of 1923 to the Port of New York City aboard the SS Polonia. I have not figured out what happened to Juozas they had family in Bridgeport CT.
Ona (Pocius)Yukna Married Jonas (Yuknevicz) aka Yukna of Brockton Ma. They had 6 children
Monica, Stanislaus aka Stan, Josef aka Joseph, Anton aka Anthony, Mary, Helena.
I am Joseph Yukna Great Grandson and the Grandson of Francis Yukna (living). Making Ona my Great Great Grandmother. The Yukna Family Tree exploded from there to the point im still trying to track down first relatives. But the Hunt is going well. Ona and Jonas stayed in died in Brockton around 1974 and 1980.
Now this is where i am confused, on the port authorities records, Names of closest relatives were, Apskr Telsiua Pocius of Bridgeport CT? and a Domciela Klibinskiene also of Bridgeport Ct? Domciela is stated as Mother of Ona? As for Juozas, it reads Zerenu Telsiua Pocius.
Hopefully somebody may be able to make sense of this? Or i may have helped in some way.
