Response to Re: Cheney, Pelosi, Reid or Biden

"for Cheney to come out and say americans are less safe with Obama is totally ridiculous!"

Let's see:

1) treat terrorists as criminals. How did that work for the Clinton Administration (hint: not very well..)

2) tell the terrorists about our interrogation techniques and which ones we will and won't use against them. Ya think that might make those terrorists better prepared to resist interrogation and more confident in their success?

3) massive Carter/Clintonesque defense cuts

So Cheney is right.

Luckily, so far (despite Obama's campaign promises to the contrary) Gitmo is still open, we are still using rendition and secret prisons, and still eavesdropping on communications into and out of the US without warrants - all those things that made Bush/Cheney so evil. Ha Ha
