If the subject was Obama's handling of the Chrysler bankruptcy situation, would you rather have a poll of 1,000 average Americans or 25 bankruptcy attorneys?
If the subject was Obama's handling of the economy, would you want a poll of 1,000 average Americans, or 50 economists and 50 financial experts?
It's a question of form or substance. The poll results of 1,000 average Americans will give you a taste of if the average American thinks you're doing a good job, or if you are likely to be re-elected by the populous. But the other polls, with only people who understand the subject matter voting in them, will give you a feel for IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING A GOOD JOB.
What's more important? The form? Or the substance?
