| Let's see. Federal government decides that everyone in America should be able to buy a house. Stupid people who can't afford house payments take out loans, fail to make payments, lose houses. Fast forward to 2009. Federal government decides that everyone should drive a "green" car and offers cash for clunkers program. Stupid people who can't afford car payments take out loans along with the government's $4500, will fail to make payments, and lose their new "green" cars to the repo man. At the same time, parts from the clunkers are being re-used and probably going right back on the roads. What a crock! |
