Studies show that new car buyers later rate their decision to purchase the car as a "good" decision. It doesnt matter whether the purchaser ended up disappointed with their car purchase, had service or mechanical problems with that car, or any other issue, those purchasers will still others that they are pleased with their car buying decision.
They just spent some $20000 to $40000 on a purchase that will cost them significant expense over the next 4 to 6 years. Few people in their right mind would voluntarily admit to others that they just made a huge financial mistake as this, they think, makes them look like fools to others.
So, mainly, this is why few former obama supporters (particularly non black) will ever admit to being wrong with voting for obama.
Blacks will mainly support obama in mass for this same reason (even more strongly), but also because so many of this demographic, having seen America vote in the first "black" President, are very fearful that, if obama isnt seen as a successful president, it will become even harder to elect a future Black President ever again. The Blacks will always support Obama in mass, although I would suggest that in the future, after obama's presidency ends whenever, a future Black prez candidate will never again see the amount of black support that obama has enjoyed.
