The Senate Dems, just like the Senate Reps, are smart generally people. If they make changes to the filibuster rules, they will be changes that both parties are generally agreeable to. Because if they make radical changes, they are smart enough to know that their party will most likely live to regret it later.

There will still be filibusters, which means anything meaningful will still need to be compromised between the two parties, which means that nobody has FULL CONTROL of the Senate. The Dems can set the agenda, but they really can't pass anything without compromise.
