It didn't happen over night and it won't be fixed over night. Many in our society have such a small attention span that everything needs to be a sound bite and needs to happen yesterday for it to be considered a success. A team loses a couple of games and it is immediately labeled a loser. A company has a few quarters of low or negative earnings and it is considered a dog to be sold. A country falls on hard economic times for a number of reasons, some that took years to compound and some that took place recently. All have something in common - it took those involved in each to happen. A team does not lose because of one person. Nor does a company, nor does a country.

We live in a country that is 236 years old, in a world that is millions of years old, and we think one or two years is a long time. Give me a break. I bet you watch Jersey Shore.
