1. I never defended Rush. If corporations don't want to advertise on his program, so be it. I could care less. But there have been calls from those on the left to have him taken off the air for comments that are fairly tame compared to some coming from the left.

2. You claim Maher is different because he's a comedian and on HBO. I don't necessarily agree, but let's go with that. Olbermann and Garafalo are political pundits, much like Rush. You never mentioned them at all.

3. The double standard seems clear to most reasonable people but apparently not to you. Wouldn't it show more integrity to simply denounce all such abusive language, whatever the source, instead of selective outrage when it comes from the right?
