It's not about playing golf, it's about how much golf has been played and who it has been played with. I like to relax, but when the job is not done, the relaxation gets delayed. I was on the board at a local club, and spent many afternoons, nights, holidays and weekends making sure that the facilities were ready to play. Yep, we could have headed out and had a beer, but we chose instead to net goals or paint lines so that the U-whatevers would be able to play on Saturday. When we are not at war, and the economy is humming, then Obama can play a weekly round of golf. While we are at war, on multiple fronts, with a lousy global economy to boot, then I think it's time to play less. That holds no matter who is in the Oval Office.
