What's going on with the House Dems is great theatre. They are trying to put up a good front, but are totally divided on this issue. Pelosi being slightly less popular in the US than Vlad Putin and Hugo Chavez adds a ton of fuel to the fire that burns inside the blue dogs. She talks tough but right now carries a very little stick, perhaps a twig. The CBC probably still has not recovered from Obama not demanding a public option in his speech last night, which is what they were begging him to do. I am sure they feel betrayed. The trail lawyers must be seeing the early stages of tort reform happening right before their eyes, unbelievably with a Dem President and the Dems in control of Congress. Add them to the feeling betrayed list. This really is great, and it's our form of government working the way it should work.
