      it doesn't matter to them that high taxes chill investment, entrepreneurship, technological advances, and productivity, and that economically we aren't what we could be (and consequently the people with limited skills and economic value have no chance to advance). all they care about is squeezing out cash to pay for the entitlement programs that ensure them votes.

      for all their "economic justice" chants the dems are appallingly disinterested in actual opportunity and advancements for the economic underclass.

      rather than subscribe to the "rising tide lifts all boats" philosophy they advance "all should be equally yoked" theory which guarantees mediocrity and stagnation
