From what you are saying only Democrats work in banking, housing, oil, auto and whatever other industry you care to mention. The senate only gets what the house sends it. Still did not see specifically what taxes were going to be raised, just the possibility of some taxes. Same for health care. You don't even know what the increase will be. Name one person that does. Right now, my health care premiums have gone up and it has nothing to do with Obamacare. Trying to pick and choose what party does what is a fools game. It matters not what party, but what benefits the particular individuals in power. We have had different combinations of party control the presidency, the house and the senate and the state of the country has been good, bad and indifferent with no pattern of who is doing the better job. It matters not who controls what, as the economy moves based on what happens around the world. We do not exist in a vacuum. Do you really think the economy reacts immediately when a change of party power happens. Of course not, what is started in one administration does not just change for the better or worse when the administration changes hands. Market forces do not react like that. They may on a small scale for a short time, but then the world economy regains control and on we go.
