Might. What a hoax this guy is, and getting rich from it. Disgusting Liberal (Communist)
“And as we’re talking today, Terry, the death count in Myanmar from the cyclone that hit there yesterday has been rising from 15,000 to way on up there to much higher numbers now being speculated,” Gore said. “And last year a catastrophic storm from last fall hit Bangladesh. The year before, the strongest cyclone in more than 50 years hit China – and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.”

"and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming"
Which means we have no idea at all if global warming has anything to do with this, but we'll certainly float the possibility. It's not like cyclones are a new phenomenon. |

but populations have grown and my guess is that the Myanmar regime did nothing to warn its citizens. Like Nagin?

the Democrat Gov from La who refused federal Aid. Nagin and Blanco both put Party above state and city. Were these also the same people who want a Chocolate City. |

Correct you are! On top of that it is being reported that the millitary government is making it difficult for aid to ebter the country. Global warming didn't kill those people, dictatorships did. |

It's difficult for these people that criticize us and our way of life constantly, especially to their own residents, to then have us be the first ones to show up when they need help with something. If a disaster like this hit North Korea or Iran we would be the first ones with an aircraft carrier full of emergency supplies and an army of people ready to deliver them sitting right off shore. How anxious would Ahmadinijad or Kim Il Jung be to tell their people "Hey, remember those awful Americans I've always told you about, well they are here to save and protect us." It's pure politics over people, and that's the reality in some of these countries. |

I think they would be happy to lose their people, less demand on resources.

I bet if they had bought a whole bunch of carbon offsets this never would have happened. |
