Palin under federal investigation???

July 5 2009 at 3:30 PM

I guess it's just rumor at this point, but I just saw a message on CNN that it has been reported in Alaska that Governor Palin resigned because she is 'under federal investigation' for embezzlement and other criminal wrongdoing."

Her attorneys have threatened the news outlets not to report on these rumors, saying they will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation.

I doubt any of this is true but it sucks that the Palin's have to keep enduring these types of attacks. I really feel bad for their family.

What did you expect? No one resigns early unless they have skeletons in the closet

not even for health reasons

Old geezers like Kennedy and Byrd keep farting their time away in US Senate, instead of retiring and letting someone young, healthy and capable do the business of the USA. No wonder we're in such poor shape, the morons can't even show up every day!

Democrats never resign because they have no other skills.

Look at how corrupt the Democrats have become.

Yes they do. Sheltering money and prision management.

So many Dems have spent time in prisions that they know how the system works.

He didn't even pardon Scooter Libby.

Re: Repubs dont do jail time because Bush pardoned all his cronies

Bush pardoned 189 people in eight years in office. Clinton pardoned 140 people in.................JANUARY 2001!!! Clinton's total for eight years was 456.

Bush was relatively very conservative in granting pardons, compared to most other Presidents.

the FBI says this is false. Typical CNN tabloid "journalism"

July 6 2009, 9:18 AM

It's amazing how often they have "news" segments or crawlers at the bottom of the screen that begin with "It has been reported that..." without ever naming sources

strikes again. International fanning of the flames for payola. Violence, riots, rapes, and bizarre celebrity or fruitcake storylines to keep ca$h for the media mafia. Sicko/psycho sold as worthy messages. Most of the lost boys and girls thrive on such filth. The anchors smile and offer sarcastic remarks in place of decent discussions or realistic solutions. The 'talking heads' of "the View" and other feminine or weak-minded falsies play make believe with tabloid interviews and critiques. Many Americans are sick of the perverts, pimps, punks, and perpetrators stealing all of our resources, including the politicos that participate in such behavior or support them.
