Hey Reps, what do you think of Palin quitting?July 6 2009 at 10:43 PM | Anonymous |
| Never heard you so quite before. This is the biggest news story of the year. The Republican party's #1 candidate for 2012 Presidential run quits with 18 months to go as Gov of Alaska. Your silence is deafening. |

weho made her the #1 rep candidate? You? That is like saying Kerry's 2004 VP candidate was going to be the #1 dem prez candidate for 2008. And we all saw how the dems treated gores losing 2000 vp candidate, lieberman, heck you kicked him out of the party. And who was kerrys running mate in 2004? And where was he for the 2008 election? But mccain's losing vp running mate somehow takes on more importance to you libs. Why so?
Do you feel stupid now? No, probably not, or you wouldnt be a dem to begin with... |

guess you haven't watched Fox lately. In fact, Palin was listed as the #1 candidate based on all polling data and most every republican strategist. I understand you now want to downplay her decision since it smacks your party right in the face, but don't you think it's time to own up a bit here. Sanford, Ensign, Palin. Has there ever been a worse 3 week period for your party?
Palin is a quitter, plain and simple. 18 months to go and she bails on Alaska. Try listening to Karl Rove, Bill Kristol, Ed Rollins, Bill Bennett, and so many of the other Republicans who are bashing Palin on this decision. |

the presidency or other political clout to get a life. She already has one and will enjoy it more in her new endeavors without any power grabs by jealous politicos or media monkeys. Many of her female counterparts look like jealous teenie BOPPERS having fun trying to destroy her reputation and role as a mother. American tv/radio/etc. journalists have become increasingly juvenile. |

Obama resigned from his Senate Seat before his term was over.
So did Biden, and half the cabinet members. JFK too.
Bob Dole resigned his Senate seat to seek the Presidency.
It's nothing new.

I know that not one single person on this foo had ever heard of Palin before McCain picked her, but you rallied around her like she had all the experience in the world. Did you happen to witness that pathetic announcement in Wasilla Friday. She actually made Bush look like an expert at reading teleprompters. This women sounded like a complete idiot! |

I hate what Obama is doing in regards to financial stuff. Sarah Palin is a soap opera that never stops. I would vote for Rommney or any other person. I want Obama to move more to the center! If he does not, then he will lose my vote in the next election. SP. is not on my radar. I think she does not have what it takes to be a national canidate. There is a reason that McClain does not support her for higher office. Think about it! There is no way of changing my mind. She is over her head. |

Biden is also proving the Peter Principle. Lets not forget Franken, Schumer, Boxer, Feinstein and Spector. All these individuals are not qualified to hold any higher position than a middle managers job in the private sector. |

just like W is and was not qualified. Reagan wasn't qualified either. Only survived because his advisers ran the show. He was showing signs of Alzheimers before his last term was up. |

who post here, they said Palin was good for THEIR party because she was an unqualified, stupid, moose-hunting hic. Thus, her resignation should be good for the Republicans.
