I traded in my clunker but now I have to pay the loan.August 23 2009 at 9:41 PM
When will the government pay my car loan? I traded in my good working car and bought a Yaris because the president told me to do so on moral grounds. I thought I was helping the dolphins and penguins by getting rid of my Ford Explorer. I am now looking at a $310.52 a month loan payment for 48 months. Unfortunately I do not have enough money to pay the loan. Will the US government provide a bailout for people like me?
|tongue in cheek|

President Obama, the anointed one, is fighting hard to reform health care, I mean the insurance industry. With the money you will save on health care you will have no problem paying for your Yaris. I don't really understand the whole thing because my total health care costs last year were around $50, mostly for vitamins, but I trust his eminence Obama in his infinite wisdom.
Even better, Mother Earth will shower her blessings on you for doing your part to heal her from the abuse Bush heaped upon her

You have a clunker of a brain to take a car loan you can't afford and now you blame Obama!!! DUH!
I guess they call that totally missing the point (eom)

Of course, blame Bush.
and your car dealer probably still hasn't been paid

this simple cash-for-clunkers program is another example of how poorly government bureaucracies work. Thousands of dealers have been waiting, waiting, waiting for the payments they were supposed to have received for consumating these deals.
But we're supposed to turn over health care to the same crowd?
