Yeah! Let's fine him, take his property and jail him - for being self-sufficient
County sues farmer for too many vegetables

DeKalb County is suing a man for growing too many vegetables on his own land,
Steve Miller of Clarkston said he plans to fight the county and has gotten his 2-acre property rezoned so that he can have his garden. But he still faces nearly $5,000 in fines, Miller told Channel 2.
Miller has been growing a variety of vegetables for 15 years, and his neighbors support him. He sells what he grows at local markets and gives some away, he said.
"It's a way of life, like it's something in my blood, Miller told Channel 2.
The county says Miller grows more crops on his land than allowed under zoning regulations. Code enforcement officers began ticketing him in January for the zoning violation and for allegedly having unpermitted employees on the property.
The county declined to comment because the case is still pending.

Has everyone gone crazy? Tell them to get lost. They have too many meth labs in DeKalb to be worrying about a guy who is raising organic veggies. |

denominators and elected OFFicials (see Dekalb/ATL/Fulton/Clayton counties). The demon they know is better than the decent person that feeds their little devils. When you look closely at the whirlwind of bad representation moving in and around the Atlanta black market, you would be amazed at the recycled products. Some of these idiots should be put out to the larger pastures and made to do real work instead of bailing out all of the crooks, dealers and other creeps. If you are wondering why the neighborhoods keep circling the drain, consider what you are rewarding and who you are trying to punish. Hard core criminal behaviors should involve a shared sacrifice somewhere that hard labor works out the kinks. Good farmers, gardeners, and reasonable neighbors should benefit from their produce and generous stewardship. Those communities that continuously vote in their own kind will lose out indefinitely. Intelligent design includes diverse planning and real change. When violent crime pays better than good service, you will see bad results. |

Take a good hard honest look around at the most corrupt screwd up counties and cities in this country and ask yourself what they all have in common. Look at the people that run them. What do they stand for? Who do they support?
Question Liberalism. |

And we have one county in metro Atlanta that is well run and is one of just a handful of government entities with "AAA" credit ratings in the country. And it's run by conservatives, and not run as a huge jobs program. |
