I got tired of hearing all this "pay thier fair share" BS so I went to the IRS website and checked out the ACTUAL tax rates from 2011. YOu can see them below. If you'll see, the bottom line for incomes of over $379k is 35%. So my question is...what is their fair share? Now don't tell me it's lower because of deductions, those are allowed by law and if you don't like them, move to have them changed or eliminated (insert Fairtax here). Conversely, with the earned income credit, the bottom pay less also. Or should I say no taxes.
Just incase you ask, no, I'm not in that bracket but sure am working in that direction. I say, why hate the rich, be one!
