WTF? Killed her mother, and only served 8 year, now killed another person? Will she get the chair, er, lethal injection, this time around?

Woman charged in death of Henry businessman

GRAY, Ga. Sheriff's officials in central Georgia have charged a woman with murder in the slaying of a Henry County businessman after his body was found wrapped up under her porch.

Pamela Moss, 54, is charged in the death of Doug Coker, 67, said Jones County Sheriff Butch Reece. Moss spoke to a lawyer last week after authorities questioned her after they discovered a business relationship between her and Coker, but it wasn't clear whether the lawyer had been officially hired, Reece said.

The lawyer didn't immediately return a message Tuesday. He previously represented Moss in 1997 when she was charged with murder in the poisoning death of her mother. She pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in that case and was sentenced to 10 years in jail, Reece said. She served about eight years, Reece said.

Coker was last seen in Bibb County on March 13. Jones County sheriff's deputies went to Moss' home Sunday because Henry and Bill county authorities investigating Coker's disappearance wanted to speak to her about their business relationship, Reece said. No one was home but a foul odor led them to discover Coker's body under the porch, he said.

Authorities believe Coker had hired Moss to write a grant proposal but then tried to get out of the contract, Reece said.

Moss' sister, who lives in Wayne County in the southeastern corner of the state, called an ambulance Monday night after Moss apparently overdosed, Reece said. Wayne County authorities took her into custody and will return her to Jones County once she is out of the hospital, Reece said.
