Maybe that explains why the black panthers are protesting... They lost one of their own.

It's an election year
March 27 2012, 11:03 AM
never let a crisis go to waste. Create one if it helps. Remind me again where the anti0war protesters are this year..... chirp, chirp

Jessie and Al haven't had much face time lately
Totally irresponsible for anyone to post or believe this.
March 27 2012, 12:18 PM
Even the article mentions doubt the validity of the tweets. Very easy these days to forge this type of activity. Anyone who would believe this at face value is a fool, especially anything posted on The Blaze. Anyone can make anyone look menacing if they get the right picture or take one out of context. Just look at how Zimmerman looks in two very different photos now being posted in the news. You, I and others have no clue what actually happened, but if you listen and read what has been release by reliable and verifiable news sources, it paints a picture pointing the guilty finger at Zimmerman, not Martin. Of course, it should be up to the courts to decide, if and when they issue an indictment for the arrest of Zimmerman.
Re: Totally irresponsible for anyone to post or believe this.
March 27 2012, 12:25 PM
"especially anything posted on The Blaze."
They posted something on their web-site noted as news that came from a variety of sources.
You are just another Liberal moron that condemns news (consevative news outlets) because their NEWS doesn't align with your twisted views of the world.
I knew I could get one of you to say that.
March 27 2012, 2:06 PM
That has been the mantra of the right wing for years. Condemn the liberal who references something from the Daily Show or any other liberal media outlet who reference legitimate news sources. It is normally followed by "think for yourself". What a fool.
Still aren't the sharpest knife drawer are ya?
March 28 2012, 6:02 AM
You still haven't figured out the whole "news" v. "opinion" thing yet have you?
March 29 2012, 9:27 AM
March 27 2012, 1:06 PM
we should let Jessie, Al and the Black Panthers do the full investigation, and when done, because Zimmerman 50% white, they can also charge him with a hate crime.
You ignore the basic facts that all of us have access to.
March 27 2012, 2:09 PM
Just shows the myopic closed minded thinking that goes on out their. You obviously have not read anything about the case nor listened to enough of the broad coverage to form an intelligent opinion. You focus on race when it is not about race, it is about ignorance and incompetence.
March 28 2012, 9:43 AM
Is ignorant and incompetent.
What I read was Zimmerman was bloody and had a broken nose. His clothing was grass stained. It was taken as evidence. He was not arrested. There are witnesses. He claims self defense.
Would you have arrested him.
Have you seen the recent video?
March 29 2012, 9:50 AM
I guess it pretty much takes care of the bloody and broken nose. And yes I would have him arrested. Someone died and he was responsible. How, why, etc is to be determined in a court of law. Just saying you were threatened is not proof.
Re: You ignore the basic facts that all of us have access to.
March 28 2012, 1:39 PM
Do you honestly believe that any of this stuff would be going on if both parties were black? Or if the shooter were black and the victim white? Taking naivete to a whole new level.
When the facts are in
March 28 2012, 3:14 PM
it will not matter what degree or shade of the visible spectrum these poor souls represent. Acting out of fear was his panic. Keep the faith and look to God, the rule of law, and TRUTH to settle this tragedy.
Re: When the facts are in
March 28 2012, 4:59 PM
The incident itself may have nothing to do with race. The reaction to it has everything to do with race. That's reality. Make the kid Hispanic, or make the shooter black, and none of us ever even hears about this incident outside of the local area.
Yes, I do.
March 29 2012, 9:52 AM
It is the facts surrounding the case, or lack thereof. The Florida law is what makes it compelling and worthy of news coverage. Some have made race the issue and you seem to be one of them.
Re: Yes, I do.
March 29 2012, 10:18 AM
Taking naivete to a whole new level.
That is your opinion.
March 29 2012, 1:39 PM
You see it from a basic instinct point of view. Many of us have moved on to a higher and more sophisticated point of view - justice.
Re: That is your opinion.
March 29 2012, 2:27 PM
The incident has to do with justice, and whether it's done or not. Justice is just a facade when it comes to the reaction to the incident. Nobody would be screaming for justice if the shooter were Hispanic and the victim was Asian, or the shooter was black and the victim was white. That's reality. Moving to some higher level of consciousness (laughable) may make you feel better about yourself, but it doesn't change reality.
Spoken like a true neanderthal.
March 29 2012, 3:37 PM
Time to take a few steps into the present. You see a race issue, I see a justice issue. I have moved past color of skin, you seem to want to perpetuate it.
Re: Spoken like a true neanderthal.
March 29 2012, 5:20 PM
Try to answer these questions as honestly (to yourself) as possible. If Zimmerman were a black man, and shot this black kid under the exact same circumstances, do you think we'd be talking about this right now? Do you think anyone would be holding rallies and marches? Do you think Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton would be commenting about it? Do you think the New Black Panthers would be mobilizing in response to it? The answer to all of the above is simply "no". As much as you may want to, you cannot separate race from the situation that is going on in response to this incident.
This has nothing to do with my attitude or your attitude, or being progressive versus being a neanderthal, it is simply the reality of the world in which we live.
No they would not.
March 29 2012, 10:31 PM
Becasue the black guy would have been arrested and held pending bail. In the Zimmerman case, he was brought in, but not arrested and held pending a bail hearing. Amazing given the circumstances of the death.
Re: No they would not.
March 29 2012, 11:09 PM
The "circumstances of the death" seem to be in serious question. Unless you know something nobody else does.
Re: No they would not.
March 30 2012, 10:05 AM
liberals know everything...
March 30 2012, 10:57 AM
Your are correct and it is good to know you know that. You get an A+. That's a high grade by the way, just in case you never saw one before.
The question said "exact same circumstances" for a reason (eom)
March 30 2012, 8:54 AM
Why do you scoff education and intelligence?
March 29 2012, 3:38 PM
Santorum does the same thing and that perpetuates ignorance.
Interesting on Hannity today.
March 27 2012, 4:59 PM
Joking about twitter he then moves quickly into discussion about Martins death saying that he just found out that Zimmerman is part Hispanic and that Zimmerman actually tutors low income kids for free and that reflects a person seemly incapable of such actions towards another person. Hannity conveniently leaves out the fact that Zimmerman has been arrested once for assaulting a policeman and twice for assaulting his girlfriend. They now say there are witnesses saying Martin was on top of Zimmerman. It took how many weeks for that to come out? And if someone where wrestling with me and had a gun, I would try to get on top of them as well. The biggest fact in the case is that Zimmerman continued to follow Martin after he had been instructed by police not to. He calls Martin a racial slur when on the phone with police. That alone makes it racial, but it's still not the issue.
Re: Interesting on Hannity today.
March 28 2012, 6:05 AM
"And if someone where wrestling with me and had a gun, I would try to get on top of them as well."
Well, if somone was on top of me pounding my head in the pavement and I had a gun I would blow their brains out.
I guess the recent video of Zimmerman refutes the head pounding.
March 29 2012, 5:17 AM
Not a scratch on him. No bloody nose either. I guess the truth is coming out.......
And it will come out...
March 29 2012, 1:37 PM
just fine without all the vigilantes and race baiters on the left.
It could all have been easily avoided had the police and
March 29 2012, 1:42 PM
DA done the correct thing and hold Zimmerman like anyone else involved in a violent death shrouded in uncertainty.
That's hardly justification...
March 29 2012, 3:17 PM
for the vigilantes and race baiters.
There are ignorant and bigoted people on both sides.
March 29 2012, 3:40 PM
Fanatics are all over the place and not the domain of one group, nation or race.
And when "fanatics" on the right...
March 30 2012, 12:19 PM
say or do something stupid, the left pounces (e.g., Rush and the Fluke affair). When someone on the left does so, the left says, "Fanatics are all over the place and not the domain of one group, nation or race."
