The desperation of some on the right is becoming more evident.April 13 2012 at 8:38 AM
Now the "issue" is one women making a comment about another women not working. Give me a break. That comment is now national news and an "issue"? The white house responds that the comment was inappropriate and still there are some who say that is not enough and it speaks volumes about the left. Please. With the all the other much more meaningful real issues out there, this is the one that becomes front page news. How does the comment of one women reflect the feelings of an entire party? If we are now in that kind of mode then any comments made by anyone on either side is now proof of endorsement by that entire party. Talk about being politically correct. The right trying to have it both ways. Rush Limbaugh's comments on Fluke are reflective of the entire Republican Party? No way is that reflective of the entire party. Santorum's comments on Romney being the worst Republican out there or that anyone who thinks people should go to college are snobs? No way. Newt promoting moon colonies? No way. Bachmann saying the swine flu was Jimmy Carters fault. No way. I could go on and on. Desperation pure and simple........
oh, how soon we forget

wasn't it the left 4 yrs ago that blasted Sarah Palin for NOT being a stay at home mom and raising her kids?
Ya know, I'm sure you're a smart guy, any comment made by either side will be used to the max by the other if they think they can win votes. And while we're on the topic of women, how nice of the the left and the media to trot Sandra Fluke out for a staged press conference and present her as a struggling college student only to find out that she's a 30 yr old activist. I'll bet that really upset you too, didn't it.
Like I said, desperation.

You confirm it every time you post.
now I'm a bit slow
April 13 2012, 9:25 AM
so maybe you can elaborate just a bit and tell me just how there is anything in my post that implies desperation. Talk about typical, we come here with replies to comments with examples to back up our arguement, and you, very typically I might add, choose to answer with attacks and putdowns. How bout just once, be a thinking, logical adult and try to argue and defend YOUR point instead of attacking mine. Try it, you might like it.
My point was pretty clear in the op.
April 13 2012, 9:42 AM
You seem to have ignored it, but that is part and parcel of your approach. Once again, you take the position that you are always right and ignore the point. You must be frustrating to work with. By the way, your sarcasm falls short.
as was mine
April 13 2012, 10:04 AM
your point was deperation, got that, my reply was about both sides taking advantage of whatever they can. Understandable given todays atmosphere.
As far as your point about my attempt at sarcasm, wasn't trying to be sarcastic, I was being sincere about the fact that we can't have a converstation here w/out getting attacked. Guess that will never change.
But read it as you will. I really don't give a big rats *** and am pretty much fed up with all of it. We're rapidly headed in the direction of Greece and then we'll all be in the same boat.
have a good one
We are not talking about Fluke.

Wait for it.......

Nice try Libby
April 13 2012, 8:52 AM
Your lame attempt at trying to deflect any attention from what that female Liberal idiot had to say about Romney's wife is laughable. The Left in this country is the undisputed champion of finding the slightest thing and making it center stage to fit their agenda.
Now, sit back, pinch your nose, and swallow that big piece of self imposed humble pie.
How sad. You still miss the point.
April 13 2012, 9:22 AM
Never said that I agreed with her comment, just that some are trying to make it reflective of an entire party. Pretty sad and desperate........
isn't Michelle a stay at home mom? Of course her home is the WH
April 13 2012, 9:19 AM
but still technically that's her job description. She just gets to travel all over the world on vacations with her entire staff and a few other relatives on tax payer money on air force one. Nice gig.
And your point?
April 13 2012, 9:35 AM
Did Obama make the comment? No. Did the entire Democratic party make the comment? No. The same can be said for attacks on what one or two Republicans might say. It was one person trying to make a point who did a very poor job of it. We have missiles flying all over the place, lives at stake and we focus on a trivial comment blown way out of proportion. Both sides need to step back and look how petty the conversations are. We have become a "reality tv" nation and that should be embarrassing for all of us.
Just like the Treyvon thing. He's an example of a son of o's WHAT???
April 13 2012, 10:34 AM
Talk about misdirection and that came right from o's mouth, he said it on National TV even though no charges had been made nor time allowed for an investigation. o jumped in with both feet!!!!! Tell me that isn't from the leader of the dem party?
As long as the dems say it it can be forgiven and allowed to passs as gospel. Absoluletly no media fallout. Please!

my Father in law asked my brother in law the other day why he didn't like Obama. My brother in law gave a great answer "all else aside, he's a terrible leader"
Strawmen and Red Herrings

Start the debate, and run away. Let the media declare conservatives to be the bad guy.
same old, same old.
Libby is not capable of reasoning.
April 14 2012, 4:37 PM
The Libs are so desperate because their Hope and Change has not come. The amazing Obama has destroyed America and has turned us into a 1970 socialist europe. The Libs started this phony war on woman.
Libs would rather have the federal Government mandate contraception on woman instead of giving them their choose of use. The Libs do not want woman to have religious freedom. Why is that? Can a Lib who is capable of independent though give a reason why the don't want woman to have religious freedom?
