Would the media have covered the story of a black teenager beating the crap out of a "white Hispanic" neighborhood watchman?

black leaders who needed a cause. They had a need to fly Trey's parents all over the country to do TV appearances and get the news media in a freenzy. It was all a ploy to distract. Is it a terrible event yes but to earn all of that attention not even a whisper. Must have been a slight news day.
