The ultimate war on women

Liberals wage the biggest war on women by refusing to make selective sex abortion illegal when the majority of babies killed for this reason are girls. How much more can anyone hate women?

Today's news: 766,000 more women unemployed than when Obama took office. Why do women support this guy?

Same reason JFK was elected. Too cute not to vote for. If you are handsome you must be what we need to bring the country back to it's feet.

They are unemployed because of

the economic policies of George Bush. The high unemployment started high before Obama took office and continued to increase; not because of Obama's policies but because of Bush's policies. Jobs are growing again and have been since Obama took office. Like him or not, at least tell the truth.

typical of those who post their own spin

comparing 2 years of Bush (out of 8 years served) to 3 years of Obama.

It's the 'stimulus' that Obama and the Democrats promised would limit unemployment to no more than 8%. That did not happen. We can hope it did, but we can't change that it didn't.

It's the huge increase in the deficit and national debt that we can hope will change, but we know that it won't.

How can we expect to increase jobs in this country when those that must drive consumer spending are depending on government entitlements to pay for it, and those that are working are funding those entitlements and don't have any money left to spend to move the economy forward? It's a consumer driven economy, not a government driven one.

Everyone should take time to read all the responses

inside the aforementioned web link. A very good read and an example of how a forum discussion should be conducted. Both sides were calm and respectful, yet very opinionated in their comments. From the back and forth dialogue it seems obvious both have some valid points. The solution is not an easy one and my hope is that both sides take responsibility and work together to find a solution. I see that we are moving in the right direction. How can we sustain it? By recognizing what got us here and working together to get us out, no matter who is in office.
