| This is the same action that a year ago President Obama said he couldnt take, because he wasnt king. Those were his words. So, obviously the action taken without legislation through Congress is not correct. It requires legislative action from the Congress of the United States. Obama made on Univision television in October 2010. "The most important thing we can do is to change the law because the way the system works--again, I just wanna repeat, I'm president, I'm not king."
On Friday, President Obama announced that effective immediately, without any congressional action, the Department of Homeland Security would lift the shadow of deportation from hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens between the ages of 16 and 30 who have been in the U.S. at least five years and meet other criteria.
Over the next few months, eligible individuals who do not present a risk to national security or public safety will be able to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings and apply for work authorizations, Obama said.
The Constitution gives Congress the power to make immigration law. Article 1, Section 8, Clauses 4 and 18 of the U.S. Constitution say: The Congress shall have the power To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization [and] To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers.
Congress has the ability not the President. We need to overthrow this king!!!

| Not King, Dictator..... how does he get away without being impeached????? | June 20 2012, 10:35 AM |
After one year and a half of Congress asking Eric Holder for documents regarding The horrible scandal of Fast and Furious, Eric Holder was in contempt of Congress. Rather than face Contempt, Eric Holder goes to the President and ask for Executive Privilege!!! It looks like Obama is going to give it!. What a travesty of Justice if that happens. Those documents probably prove that our "so called" Justice Department participated in a plot to try to use Guns to help their cause of Control of Guns. It backfired and now it is about to come to light what they did and how it hurt our Border Patrol!

| I dont think that Holder/Justice participated in the F & F issue at the time | June 20 2012, 8:47 PM |
This isnt why Holder is holding back on several docs.
What I think Holder and O dont want to get out is that they learned about the F&F program but instead of coming forward to stop the program and honestly reveal this bad decision by ATF to the American people, Holder's justice and White House spent countless times emailing each other on how they need to protect O politically.
Holder's justice is nothing more than a political arm of our President and this is very very very scary!!!! |

Obama asserts executive privilege
The Associated Press
WASHINGTON The Justice Dept says that President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege to withhold documents a House committee is seeking in an investigation of a flawed gun-smuggling probe.
In a letter to Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., a Justice Department official said the privilege applies to documents that explain how the department learned that there were problems with the investigation called Operation Fast and Furious.

this latest in a series of illegal activities of the sitting political team needs to be dealt with. Congress needs to investigate and punish all guilty and if that means Obama then so be it. |

By invoking executive privilege, Obama has admitted knowing about Fast and Furious whether or not he realizes that's what he's done. Chalk up another dumba$$ mistake for this guy who is in WAYYYYY over his head. |
